Christina Mertens is VP of Business Development EMEA at VIRTUS, bringing over a decade of expertise in expanding hyperscale infrastructure across the region. Previously at Amazon Web Services, she led major data centre expansions and launched new AWS geographies. As former Data Center Divestiture Principal, she advised strategic cloud customers on infrastructure strategy and migration models. Christina now serves as Managing Director for Germany and Italy, overseeing growth, sales, and end‑to‑end data centre operations.
